Hurricane Harvey Relief (How can you help?)

If you are able in the weeks and months ahead various efforts will be ongoing to help rebuild the areas hardest hit in Texas by Hurrican Harvey. Give a day or a weekend to help just one family. Don’t become overwhelmed with the magnitude of the catastrophe – you cannot help everyone but each of us can help someone.

The following is a short list of ministries which are helping in the recovery effort. By going to the individual websites listed you will find opportunities to give, to pray for specific needs and to roll up your sleeves and help:

The Texas Baptist Men, The Baptist men are carpenters and other trade and craftsmen who come together for the glory of God to build churches and help in other reconstruction and relief efforts. Their labor is 100% free and they rely on donations to continue to do so. You can donate by mail as well: Texas Baptist Men 5351 Catron Dallas, Texas 75227 or text 73256 to give directly to the hurricane fund. *Both this ministry and the following will be uniquely focusing on the Texas recovery effort.


SBTC Disaster Relief,  On this page you will find opportunities to pray for specific needs, give financially, or to help fill “Buckets for Harvey” as well as a place to sign up to go help.
